Why you need an HP calculator

Despite the long existence and everyday familiarity of the calculator, HP is continuously looking for ways to help increase user productivity and methodologies to tap into the maximum power of our portable devices. To accomplish this, we have expanded the information base and added new training options on the HP Calculator Web site.

The resources available on our Web site are designed to add value to the HP calculator experience. In addition to product information, downloadable manuals, support information, and a retailer locator, the site also includes many free training tools. HP calculator courses (virtual classrooms), online tutorials (computer based training) and downloadable step-by-step training modules are also available for all current HP calculators.

Our virtual classrooms are great vehicles to enhance user knowledge on new HP calculator capabilities and functions. You will have the benefit of real-time personalized instruction by our distinguished staff of virtual classroom trainers with years of experience in their fields using HP Calculators. See their bios. Additionally, attendees will be eligible for our monthly drawing to win a free HP Calculator, if they sign up and complete a virtual classroom course.

In addition to the virtual classrooms, we have just added three more on-demand courses you can take at your convenience - with more on the way. These courses reveal the immense power and functionality of the HP 10bII, the HP 12c Platinum and HP 17bII financial calculators. They also include the HP 33s scientific and our full line of HP graphing calculators (HP 39g+, HP 48gII and HP 49g+). The new courses focus on the use of our HP 33s on the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam and HP's popular 10bII Financial Calculator on the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) exam and other real estate oriented calculations.

We have also focused on providing educators, trainers and teachers with effective teaching tools, such as HP calculator emulators. The emulator is a software version of a fully functioning HP calculator that runs on a PC that can be attached to a projector and viewed by the entire class. Students have a clear view of each keystroke and can follow along with the instructor. If you are involved in educating others in the use of calculators at your company, school or university, see how HP calculator emulators can be a great tool.

I trust you will enjoy the website and find it useful in enhancing your HP calculator experience.

Sincerely,

Fred A. Valdez
