HP Performance Tuning Framework

The HP Performance Tuning Framework installation bundle can be downloaded to your machine.

The file is approximately 28 MB and is a self-extracting executable (named HPPTFDeploy.exe) containing the set-up program necessary to install the Framework on your system.

Please remember to make note of the location to which the file is saved.

Choose your operating system:

Step 1:  Download the Windows XP® , Windows Vista® HP PTF2 installation file

Step 2:  Follow these steps to install the Framework:

• Save the HPPTF.msi by double-clicking on the Save button.
• Supply a destination location for the HPPTF.msi installation file.

Step 3:  Once the file has been saved, Run the installation file and follow its prompts. The Installation may take several minutes.

Step 1:  Download the Windows 2000® PTF executable

Step 2:  After the deployment file has been downloaded, follow these steps to install the Framework:

• Run the deployment executable by double-clicking on its icon.
• Supply a destination location for the extracted installation files, or accept the default (C:\), then click the Unzip button.

Step 3:  Once the files have been extracted, close the Self-Extractor window.

Step 4:  Run the setup program and follow its prompts. The default location for the setup program is C:\HPPTFDeploy\setup.exe. Installation may take several minutes.
