The HP & Microsoft Hyper-V Server virtualization solution is a combination of hypervisor, management software , servers, storage and services that can be used to create a highly optimized virtualized environment. In this environment multiple physical machines running different types of operating systems like Windows, Linux and others including 32-bit and 64 bit systems can be consolidated onto fewer physical servers.

This solution allows customers to save money on supporting and managing systems which are underutilized which reduces costs for labor, hardware, maintenance, power and cooling. In addition it allows for optimal usage of multiple systems with management tools that will support quick migration of applications from one physical server to another with minimal downtime.
